Miller Cast is a fifth generation brass and bronze foundry founded in 1887 by J. Walter Miller, who learned his trade as an apprentice in metals and electroplating. In 1915, Miller Cast designed a 6-in1 hammer as a promotional item for Woolworth’s department store. The tool was so popular that Miller Cast continued to offer the product as part of their catalog, and developed an entire line of compact, nested tools, which this screwdriver set is a part of. The business is still run by the Miller family to this day.
