The family business that designed and created this folding knife got its start in 1960. Its patriarch, Fervido Maserin, began working in a factory that produced knives, scissors and other tools for agriculture at the age of 14 in the 1930s. Taking his many years of experience, he began his own line of products, which has now expanded to include knives for military, outdoor, hunting and personal use.
Manufactured in Maniago, Italy, this folding knife comes from a history of steel blade production reaching back to the medieval 1500s. Due to its proximity to Venice, the old blacksmiths of Maniago were permitted to use the streams to cool and cut their steel during tool production.
