This key ring has a high capacity and can accommodate over a dozen keys while still maintaining a streamlined appearance. The convenient twist-barrel closure allows you to easily remove and attach keys and other items. At 2” long and just over 2 ½” wide, this minimal key ring comes raw or with a black oxide finish. The oxide coating will eventually wear away to reveal the brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc that has been used for ship parts for centuries precisely because of its non-rusting properties.

Use & Care

No special care is required for this brass key ring. Daily contact with the natural oils from your hand will keep the ring polished and give it a unique patina over time.

Production & Design

This Brooklyn-based company began in 2007 with simple, minimally designed men’s wallets using leathers from a Pennsylvania tannery in operation since the 1800s. Founder Nathan Gryszowka was inspired by a 1940s wallet spotted at a Williamsburg, Brooklyn antique shop. The vintage wallet was sleek and pared down—a much better aesthetic than the overly stitched, bulky bi-folds he would encounter often. The initial line of wallets eventually segued into other accessories including coin pouches, money clips, key rings, and bracelets. Nathan and his team also make valet trays made of sustainably harvested wood to keep all those items organized.

The solid brass key rings are made by a local machinist and metalworker who is a good friend of Nathan’s. He bends and threads the brass wire, then produces the hex-shaped closure piece by hand on a lathe in a seven-step process.
