Our versatile folding knife is capable of gutting whole animals but just as useful for home tasks. Laser-cut, hand-sharpened blade. Olive wood handle. Made in Maniago, Italy. Knife closed is 5" and 8.5" when open. (
This knife comes from a company that launched in 1960 and added hunting knives to their collection over 20 years ago. The model features an ergonomic handle and a wider, thicker blade with an extra sharp point that’s designed specifically for cleanly gutting cinghiale, wild boar that have roamed Italy for centuries. When out of the wild, this folding knife is just as practical. It makes a precise cut in everyday situations, slicing through cardboard box seams, twine or—in a pinch—a block of cheese as part of an impromptu antipasto spread.
Clean the blade with a damp cloth, then let dry. When needed, add olive oil to the handle to protect and smooth the natural olive wood.
Made in Maniago, Italy (known as “the city of knives”), this hunting knife comes from a legacy of steel blade production that reaches back to the medieval 1500s. Due to their proximity to Venice, the old blacksmiths of Maniago were permitted to use the surrounding waterways to cool and cut their steel during tool production.
