Heavyweight, calf-length socks in a cotton-acrylic blend for long-lasting wear. Elastic cuff keeps socks in place during outdoor activities. Available in Charcoal/Natural and Grey/Black, and comes in two sizes. Made in the U.S.A. since 1905. (
Made by a family-run company in operation since 1905, these socks are knit in a unique blend of cotton, acrylic spandex and nylon for optimal results in durability and comfort. Cotton creates a soft, cushiony touch, while the added acrylic means the socks are more durable. The addition of stretch nylon and spandex provides a snug fit, so that you can concentrate on enjoying the season's activities, like snowshoeing or skiing, rather than pulling up your socks.
For best results, turn socks inside out before washing. Wash in warm water and tumble dry on low heat. Maximum water temp is 120° F / 50° C.
Do not bleach.
This family-run sock company has been in operation for over a century, and they proudly source all their materials and manufacturing in the United States. The socks are knitted in their factory in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, using wool from American yarn spinners and American wool growers. The manufacturing facility works with local utility services to improve efficiency and limit the carbon footprint with initiatives such as installing solar energy panels to heat water, adding motion sensory lights to limit wasted power and implementing responsible waste management to re-use and recycle.
In addition to being mindful of their own practices, the company continually lobbies in Washington, D.C. for the passage of fair trade policies that promote production in the United States.
